Donated by Dr John Logan to the University of Limerick on 7 June 2002. These documents were originally found among the Coote Papers (P10). As no discernible connection between Maxwell, Weldon & Co. and the Coote family could be identified, the documents were listed as a separate entity.

This small collection contains routine correspondence and accounts created and generated by Maxwell, Weldon & Co. on behalf of their clients, mainly pertaining to probate, death duties and other testamentary matters.

All records have been retained.

System of arrangement
No original order of the material was discernible at the time of receipt of the collection. Consequently, the material was divided into three series by client. Within each sub-series, documents have been arranged chronologically by date.
