Part of The O'Mara Papers

Letter from Kate O’Brien, Hotel de France, La Turbie, Alpes Maritimes, France to Anne O’Mara. Kate is struggling with the local climate, which affects her ability to write. She is looking forward to meeting Darina Silone, who is coming to see Lorna Reynolds as the latter has failed in her attempts to get to Rome. She has been asked by her Aunt Fan to write for a missionary paper, but she confesses that she could no more write a story with a missionary flavour than she could fly.
