Large notebook, originally a diary for 1963 but used by Condell for writing down drafts of assorted articles for Woman’s Way, Limerick Weekly Echo, Church of Ireland Gazette and Irish Independent. Article topics include current affairs, social welfare and health issues, consumerism, fashion and specific events such as festivals, conferences and local elections. Inserted between the pages are 35 loose items, mainly place holders with single keywords but also assorted press cuttings and three article drafts (Do You Ever Feel a Flop; Lest We Forget; and part of an untitled article discussing TV and radio).
