Barber (assistant secretary), The Incorporated Society of Authors, Playwrights and Composers, 11 Gower Street, London, referring to a copy of a contract with Chambers which Walsh had sent for comment. Barber considers some clauses ‘are capable of improvement’ and outlines changes to seven of them. Enclosed is the wording of both a ‘subsidiary rights clause’ and a ‘termination clause’ which are recommended for inclusion.
