Deed of renewal between the Right Honourable Eyre Tilson Coote of the first part and Edward Simpson, Drumsna, county Leitrim; Humphry Griffith, Bath Lodge, county Sligo; and Sarah Short, city of Dublin, widow of the second part.

Property: The lands of Tinnycross together with a field adjoining on the east to the said lands and also a plot of ground about 29 perches meaning the commons which lands are situate in and near the town of Ballymore Eustace at or near the long stone on the said commons situate in the county of Dublin and containing 68 acres English statute measure.

Term: Three lives renewable for ever.

Conditions: £30 sterling to be paid on the days and in manner as in the annexed deed of lease.

Other: Lacking annexed survey mentioned in the deed.

Lease between the Right Honourable Barbara, Baroness Castlecoote, Stephen’s Green, city of Dublin, of the first part and John Cassin, Clonrudd, Queen’s County, farmer, of the second part.

Property: That part of the lands of Clonrudd containing 19 acres, bounded by the Widow Cavanagh, Murphy and C[---]‘s holdings and on the south by the River Nore situate in the Barony of Maryborough West, parish of Clonenagh and Queen’s County.

Term: Three lives or 31 years from 1 November 1827.

Conditions: £1 4s per acre and some proportion for any lesser quantity than an acre to be paid by two equal half-yearly payments on every first day of May and first day of November.

Other: attached to the lease is a letter from John Bolton, Ely Place, Dublin, dated 14 April 1884, stating that ‘John Cassin went to America about thirty years ago & is supposed to be dead’.
