Kirwan informs Moore that the company directors ‘have declined giving Mr Tatlow a formal deed of Indemnity in your case, which for many reasons appeared to them injudicious.’ Kirwan goes on to advise Moore that ‘If you think you are still safe in relying on the Company… it may still be in time to have your petition forwarded to London for the 8th Inst.’
