Identified in The Round House O’Malleys as Patrick, sixth child of Patrick and Helena O’Malley. Note however that the reverse of the photograph identifies the sitter as Patrick, seventh child of Denis and Johanna O’Malley.

The back of the frame bears a sticker with the words ‘Aunt Eileen Thurles’, but the woman has been identified by the family as Sarah (Judy) O’Malley née Walsh.
