Side A contains a 20-minute homily on the theme of ‘Preparing to Meet the Lord’ interspersed with spoken prayers, psalms and a sung version of Abide with Me. Side B includes the hymns and songs The Lord is My Shepherd; River of Dreams to the air of The Blue Danube; a violin solo; Panis Angelicus and the Barcarolle from The Tales of Hoffmann; Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring sung by John McCormack; and Lord Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace sung by a soprano with a children’s choir.

Wicker armchairs surround the larger table. A woman and nine children aged under 10 are seated in the armchairs or standing next to the table. A second woman, holding a baby in her arms stands at a short distance to the right from the main group. Standing on the left is Henry Barnaby O’Brien, with Doreen and Beatrice standing next to her with Lilah sitting on the grass in front of her sisters.
