Glass plate negative (215 x 165 mm) depicting a group of five men and four women posing for the camera, four of them standing, the other five seated on folding chairs. Three of the men are formally dressed in suits and two of them are wearing a bowler hat. The other two men are more casually dressed in tweed suits and flat caps. The women are all waring fitted waist-length jackets, long skirts and elaborately decorated hats. The gazes of one woman and two men are fixed on a medium-sized dog sitting on its haunches in front of the woman and gazing at the camera.
