Assignment of judgment between Richard Magahan, gentleman, of Cootehill, county Cavan, assignee of Walter Brady, an insolvent debtor formerly of Cootehill of the first part; Samuel Moore of Cullies, county Cavan of the second part; and Arthur Frazer of Edward Terrace, county Dublin of the third part. The assignment concerns a judgment for £4,000 Irish currency obtained by Brady against Moore in 1815. When Brady became insolvent two years later, Magahan was appointed his assignee and the judgment against Moore became legally vested in him. At Moore’s request, Frazer paid £1,025 of the outstanding sum to Magahan, who then assigned the judgment to Frazer.
Moore family of Moynehall, county CavanAssignment of judgment between Arthur Charles Magennis, executor of the late Reverend William Magennis, dean of Kilmore deceased of the first part; Samuel Moore of Cullies, county Cavan of the second part; and Arthur Frazer of Edward Terrace, county Cavan of the third part. In 1813, William Magennis obtained a judgment for £10,000 Irish currency against Moore. Magennis died in 1820 and in his will appointed Arthur Charles Magennis his residuary legatee and sole executor.
