Coy marriage settlement dated 25 September 1800 between Gerard Moore of Drogheda esquire, Mary Moore his wife, and Samuel Moore his eldest son and heir apparent of the first part; Robert Burrowes of Stradone, county Cavan esquire and Jane Burrowes spinster his second daughter of the second part; James Blackwood and James Blacker, both of the city of Dublin esquires of the third part; the Reverend Joseph Story of Bingfield in county Cavan clerk and Thomas Burrowes esquire, only son of the above Robert Burrowes of the fourth part; Samuel Pendleton and Philip Pendleton, both of the city of Dublin esquires of the fifth part; and Mary Blackwood of the city of Dublin widow and executrix of Townley Blackwood late of Cloncury in county Cavan esquire of the sixth part. The settlement determines annuities to be paid to Samuel’s widow, children and mother in the event of his death and his right to raise sums of money upon the estate for the provision of his younger children, towards the payment of debts due by him, and towards any other purposes he should think fit. Copy of a marriage settlement between Edmund Morony the elder of Ballyclough, county Limerick, now residing at Queenstown, county Cork, of the first part; Edmund Morony the younger of the same place of the second part; Helena Mary O’Dell of Odellville but at present residing at Clonshire, county Limerick of the third part; and Robert Lloyd Roe of Killaloe, county Clare Esquire and Godfrey George Massy of Ballinakill, county Limerick of the fourth part. The settlement grants the house, offices and demesne of Ballyclough in the south liberties of the city of Limerick, the fee farm rents issuing out of various lands of Corbally in the parish of Saint Patrick’s in the borough of Limerick, the mortgage debt of £1,000 charged upon the lands of Cahirconreafy otherwise Caherconreafy in the barony of Clanwilliam, county Limerick and the town and lands of Odellville and associated plots of ground in trust to Roe and Massey to permit Edmund Morony the younger, his wife Helena Mary O’Dell and their issue to receive the rents and profits thereof.

Copy of a marriage settlement between Henry Vereker Morony, 75 Haddington Road, Dublin, Civil Engineer of the first part; Eliza Helena Morony and Helena Mary Morony, Odellville, county Limerick of the second part; and Edward Dickson Power, 44 Marlborough Road, Dublin, Accountant and Francis Peacocke, 23 Upper Rutland Street, Dublin, Esquire, of the third part. The settlement grants part of the lands of Doughbeg known as Loo Cottage, county Clare, a property held by Henry Vereker Morony under a lease renewable forever, two insurance policies worth £1,000 and £500, respectively, held in Morony’s name, £500 invested by Morony in various shares and the town and lands of Odellville, county Limerick in trust to Power and Peacocke and their heirs for the benefit of Henry Vereker Morony, Eliza Helena Morony and their heirs.

Copy memorial of a deed of annuity dated 14 March 1807 between Samuel Moore of Moynehall in county Cavan of the first part; William Ashe of the city of Dublin of the second part; James Johnston of the city of Dublin, attorney, of the third part; and Elizabeth Blacker and Alicia Blacker of the city of Dublin, spinsters, and Mary Moore, mother of said Samuel Moore, of the fourth part, granting to William Ashe an annuity of £500 payable by Samuel Moore during his natural life out of the manor of Moynehall in consideration of £3,000. Copy memorial dated 17 July 1787 of a deed of four parts dated 9 May 1787 between George Moore of Moynhall in county Cavan of the first part; Gerard Moore of the town of Drogheda esquire, brother of George Moore of the second part; Samuel Adams of the city of Dublin of the third part; and Townly Blackwood of Clonervy in county Cavan of the fourth part settling on Dorothea Moore, niece of George and Gerard Moore, the sum of £700, in consideration whereof George Moore has conveyed to Gerard Moore that part of the lands of Ardaghstown otherwise Moore Mount in county Louth. Copy memorial of a deed of reconveyance of annuity dated 10 August 1813 between William Ashe of the city of Dublin of the first part; James Johnston the city of Dublin of the second part; and Samuel Moore of Moinehall in county Cavan of the third part. Ashe and Johnston reconvey to Samuel Moore the annuity of £500 in consideration of the payment of £4,713.8.2 by Moore to Ashe. Item no. 46 on P15/1/2/2/1; used as evidence for P15/1/2/1/9.

Copy memorial of a deed of release dated 24 July 1813 between James Blackwood of Saintfield in county Down of the first part and Samuel Moore of Mooremount in county Cavan of the second part. Blackwood releases to Moore the lands of Summerhill in county Meath, the manor of Moynehall in county Cavan and the lands of Mooremount in county Louth in consideration of full payment and satisfaction for £2,000, part of a charge of £3,000 on said lands.
