This collection comprises early twentieth-century scrapbooks and photograph albums compiled by Robert Rennie Ballingal and his daughter Dorothy Ballingal, anonymous threat letters received by Robert Rennie Ballingal during the land war in his role as agent to the 4th Earl of Dunraven, presentation books received by him on his retirement, and information relating to the Royal Irish Automobile Club, of which he was a member.

Large cloth-bound hardback scrapbook containing press cuttings, trial programmes, rule books, invitations, advertisements and notices mostly relating to coursing, fishing, field trials and the activities of the Adare Manor Golf Club. Also several articles on tobacco cultivation in Ireland and on the Irish Land Bill (including a number of published letters by the Earl of Dunraven); a series of articles entitled 'Rural Denmark' investigating the country’s agriculture and rural problems; article entitled 'Pre-Historic Faith and Worship' by the Rev. Canon French; article on Irish stud farms; article on motored ploughs; two articles on game prosecutions in Pallaskenry; and a long article on the retirement of Niel Ballingal from his role as factor for the Balgonie colliery in Scotland.
