Assignment of mortgage by demise between Bartholomew William Gilbert, Killminchy, Queen’s County, of the first part and Edward Gray, Maryborough, Queen’s County, executor of the will of William Wall, of the second part.

Property: The waste piece or parcel of ground situate at the west end of the town of Maryborough in Queen’s County whereon the old Pound of Maryborough stood with all the old stone quarry adjoining the same; and the waste piece or parcel of ground situate and adjoining to and on the north side of the said pound and quarry.

Term: For the remainder of the original term of 999 years.

Conditions: £50 sterling and the interest thereof paid by William Wall in his lifetime.

Conditions: Yearly rent of £3 8s 3d sterling to be paid by two equal half-yearly payments on every first day of November and first day of May.

Lease between the Honourable Sir Eyre Coote of the first part and Patrick Callaghan, Morganstown, county Dublin, of the second part.

Property: That part of the lands of Morganstown containing 9 acres 1 rood and 37 perches as by a map and survey made thereof by Robert Ely Land Surveyor (for which see P10/5/1) situate in the county of Dublin.

Term: 21 years.

Conditions: £16 10s sterling to be paid by two equal half-yearly payments on every first day of November and first day of May together with three loads of straw.

Deed of renewal between the Right Honourable Charles Henry Coote of the first part and Henry Parnell, Rathleague, Queen’s County, of the second part.

Property: The names of John Parnell and Henry Parnell, first and second sons of Henry Parnell party hereto and the Princess Charlotte of Wales to be added and inserted to the annexed lease of premises in the town of Maryboro [Maryborough] in Queen’s County.

Term: Three lives.

Conditions: £4 sterling to be paid by two equal half-yearly payments on every 25th day of March and 25th day of September.

Other: Lacking annexed lease mentioned in the deed.

Lease between the Right Honourable Charles Henry Coote of the first part and Mark Delany, Dennis Synan, David Delany, John Delany and Edward Brofy, Derryroe, Queen’s County, farmers, of the second part.

Property: that part of the lands of Derryroe now in the actual possession of the said Mark Delaney and partners and containing by a late survey by Robert Ely (for which see P10/5/1) 35 acres situate in the parish of Clonena [Clonenagh], barony of Maryboro [Maryborough] West, Queen’s County.

Term: two lives from 1 May 1818.

Conditions: £50 sterling to be paid by two equal half-yearly payments on every first day of November and first day of May.

Deed of renewal between the Right Honourable Eyre Tilson Coote of the first part and Edward Simpson, Drumsna, county Leitrim; Humphry Griffith, Bath Lodge, county Sligo; and Sarah Short, city of Dublin, widow of the second part.

Property: The lands of Tinnycross together with a field adjoining on the east to the said lands and also a plot of ground about 29 perches meaning the commons which lands are situate in and near the town of Ballymore Eustace at or near the long stone on the said commons situate in the county of Dublin and containing 68 acres English statute measure.

Conditions: £30 sterling to be paid on the days and in manner as in the annexed deed of lease.

Lease between the Right Honourable Barbara, Baroness Castlecoote, Stephen’s Green, city of Dublin, of the first part and John Cassin, Clonrudd, Queen’s County, farmer, of the second part.

Property: That part of the lands of Clonrudd containing 19 acres, bounded by the Widow Cavanagh, Murphy and C[---]‘s holdings and on the south by the River Nore situate in the Barony of Maryborough West, parish of Clonenagh and Queen’s County.

Term: Three lives or 31 years from 1 November 1827.

Conditions: £1 4s per acre and some proportion for any lesser quantity than an acre to be paid by two equal half-yearly payments on every first day of May and first day of November.

Other: attached to the lease is a letter from John Bolton, Ely Place, Dublin, dated 14 April 1884, stating that ‘John Cassin went to America about thirty years ago & is supposed to be dead’.

Marriage settlement between the Reverend Charles Henry Coote, Dean of Kilfenora and Grace Coote his daughter of the first part, the Reverend Doctor Henry Bathurst of Oxford of the second part, and Charles Henry Coote of the city of Dublin and the Reverend Charles Bathurst of Oxford, brother of the said Henry Bathurst, of the third part.
