Resolutions unanimously agreed at a meeting held at the Commercial Buildings with Thomas Spring Rice in the chair, including that to petition for the rights of the freeholders and resident freemen of the city of Limerick to return a Member to the Parliament. The bottom left hand corner of the third page bears the additional date 28 May 1830.

Resolution by the Commissioners of the Parish of St Michael’s to petition against an act of parliament to unite for the purpose of local taxation the liberties of the Old Town of Limerick with the parish of St Michael. Also a further resolution to contribute to the general expenditure of the Liberties and City at large a sum not exceeding one thousand pounds.
