Watercolour and pencil drawing (229 x 366 mm) of the old 14-arch Thomond Bridge in Limerick city before it was swept away by a storm in 1833. The drawing depicts King John’s Castle in the background and two people in the foreground, with a woman fetching a bucket of water from the river and a man standing on the riverbank facing the viewer. Artist unknown, but attributed to James Pain.
